1. Agreement
By using Ask Marta (the app and askmarta.ai), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Ask Marta.
3. What Ask Marta is — important
Ask Marta is a self-help communication and relationship-insight tool. marta is an AI assistant. Ask Marta is NOT therapy, medical or mental-health treatment, legal advice, counselling, or a crisis service. Its outputs are suggestions and hypotheses, not professional advice or verdicts, and may be inaccurate. Use your own judgement. In an emergency or crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line — Ask Marta is not a substitute.
4. Your content & responsibility
You are responsible for what you submit, and you confirm you have the right to share it. Don't submit content that is illegal, or that you use to harass, surveil, stalk, coerce, or harm another person. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
5. Privacy
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, including that raw submitted content is deleted after processing and only derived insights are retained.
6. Subscriptions, billing & limits
- Free plan: limited use (currently 3 readings/day, 1 person).
- marta+ (Pro): paid subscription with a monthly reading allowance (currently 100 analyses/month); additional top-up packs may be purchased. Limits may change.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout (e.g. monthly/annual).
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.
- Cancellation: you may cancel anytime in-app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period (you keep access until then).
- Refunds: except where required by law, payments and used subscription time are non-refundable.
7. Acceptable use
No unlawful, harmful, abusive, or manipulative use; no attempts to use marta to control, deceive, surveil, or harm another person; no reverse-engineering or misuse of the service.
8. AI outputs
marta's responses are generated by AI, are probabilistic, and can be wrong. We make no guarantee of accuracy or outcomes. Decisions you make are your own.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Marta is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new date. Continued use means acceptance.
